Selection process of Union Bank Clerical exam:
Union Bank clerical exam selection process consists of two stages:
1.0 Written test.
2.0 Interview.
Final merit list is decided on the basis of marks scored in above two stages taken together. The selection is state-wise, category-wise.

As you can find from above:
1.0 Test of English language (with marks:50) is qualifying only and the mark you score here is not counted for the merit list. You just need to clear this exam - the cutoff for which is determined on the basis of performance of all candidates in the exam.
2.0 Test of Reasoning & Numerical Ability has the maximum weightage, with 1.5 marks per question. Hence you need to put emphasis on these.
3.0 There is negative marking -1/4th mark for each wrong answers in these Objective tests.

Cut-off mark for Union Bank Clerical exam:
You need to pass in each of the objective tests individually - the cut-off marks for which would be determined only after the exam is over, depending on the performance of the candidates.
On top of this, You need to score following minimum total marks in the two papers:
1.0 Objective Test Paper: Min. 40% marks (35% marks for Reserved Category).
2.0 Computer knowledge Paper: Min. 50% marks (45% marks for Reserved Category).

How many candidates would be selected in this Union Bank Clerical exam?
Candidates would be selected in the Union Bank Written exam in following ratio:
1.0 For Open categories: 1:3.
2.0 For Reserved categories: 1:5.
