Criteria for Grace Marks:
1. As per SBTE norms the grace marks can be granted either year/semester wise proportional to the marks of that particular year/semester during the course of study as per grace marks rule. However, the grace marks granted shall not exceed 0.5% of the total marks of that particular diploma, with a limit maximum of three subjects.
2. Further the student must have appeared atleast once in the paper(s) in which he/she want to seek the grace marks. There is no criteria of minimum marks obtained by the candidate in the concerned subject(s). The present criteria of obtaining minimum 10 marks to obtain grace marks is waived off.

GOVERNMENT OF JAMMU AND KASHMIR GENERAL ADMINISTRATION DEPARTMENT

Srinagar, the 12th of May 2000

SRO – 139 – In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to section 124 of the Constitution of Jammu and Kashmir, the Governor hereby makes the following rules, namely: -

1. Short title and commencement: i) These rules mat be called the Jammu and Kashmir Combined Competitive Services (Probation and Examination) Rules, 2000.

ii) These rules shall be deemed to have come into force with effect from 12.07.1999.

2. Exemption: The probationers required to pass the examination under these rules shall be exempted from passing any other departmental examination, whenever prescribed in feeding services.

3. Definitions: -
a. “Annexure” means the annexure appended to these rules;
b. “Commission” means the Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission;
c. “Feeding Service” means the service as defined by clause (b) of sub-rule (1) of rule 5 of the Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service Rules, 1979;
d. “Examination” means the examination held under these rules;
e. “Government” means the Government of Jammu and Kashmir;
f. “State” means the State of Jammu and Kashmir.

4. Probation: i) Persons appointed to service by direct recruitment shall be placed on probation for a period of two years.
ii) If it appears at any time during or at the end of the period of probation that an officer has not made sufficient for a period of two years.

5. Examination: i) Every probationer shall, at or about the end of period of training in the instructions specified for the purpose, appear in the examination.
ii) The examination shall be conducted by the Commission twice in a year, as far as practicable, at such place and time as may be appointed by the Commission.

6. Syllabus: i) The syllabus for the examination shall be as specified in Annexure to these rules. The papers for the examination and the maximum marks allotted to each paper shall be as follows: -

SBI General Manager Press Notification Released The interviews for the captioned recruitment exercise were held in the month of April & May 2010. Around 90,000 candidates were interviewed and the tabulation of the interview marks and merging them with marks of written test is nearly complete. As the recruitment exercise is massive, checking and crosschecking of the marks has been necessitated so that it is error free. The exercise of final selection is state-wise and category-wise based on the reservations prescribed for SC, ST, OBC, etc. As such, it is equal to compilation of more than 200 independent merit lists. We expect to complete the whole exercise and release the final result in six weeks time. This is for the information of the candidates. Candidates are requested to bear this delay with us

MG University Results 2010

In continuation to the Notification of even number dated 19.08.2010, it is further notified that the results of I & II to VI Semester B. Tech Degree Examination held in April, 2010 is published. The results of the candidates who passed VIII semester earlier in April, 2010 and cleared lower semesters mentioned in this notification are also published. The provisional list of register numbers of successful candidates is appended.

Mark lists of these examinations will be sent to the colleges where from the candidates appeared for the examination.
