The Staff Selection Commission conducted Stenographer Grade ’C’& ‘D’ Examination, 2010 on 09.01.2011.The written result of the said examination was declared on 25.01.2011. Out of 10654 candidates declared qualified for Skill Test for Stenographer Grade ‘D’, only 6552 candidates appeared in the Skill Test. Out of 2328 candidates declared qualified for Stenographer Grade ’C’, 1300 candidates appeared in the Skill Test.

Application for Scrutiny/Revaluation of answer scripts should be submitted to the Principal of the Polytechnic concerned so as to reach this Office on or before 25/06/2011. Application will not be received directly from the students in this office. Fee for Scrutiny is Rs. 90/- per paper & for Revaluation Rs. 240/- per paper. Fee shall be remitted at the Polytechnic College Office.(The Principals are directed to follow the GO(MS) No. 205/09/H Edn dated 18/11/09 for this purpose). Application format can be downloaded from website www.tekerala.org or obtained from the examination centers. Mark List downloaded from the website can be used for applying Scrutiny/Revaluation.
The Principals can collect the fee for Revaluation/Scrutiny from the students and forward the applications by online to office of JCTE Kaimanam, Thiruvananthapuram through the ‘institution login’ on or before 25/06/2011. Applications forwarded through online only be accepted. Belated applications will not be accepted under any circumstances.

Instructions
Candidates can either submit their applications online till 5.45 P.M. on 19/06/2011 or through applications obtained from the Commission’s Office/Head Post Offices.

Fees : Rs.130/- (Rs. 100 – Examination Fee + Rs. 30 – Application Fee). The fee should be paid only through Postal Receipt obtained from any one of the Post Offices or Sub-Post Offices. Candidates applying Online should possess and keep ready the Postal Receipt for this amount before start entering the details.


Procedure to apply online:

Read carefully the Instructions / Brochure / Notification-Advertisement before Filling up the Application form.

Click “Apply Online” tab appeared in your right hand side.

Fill-up/Select the relevant particulars asked in the data entry screen carefully.

After confirmation, click “Yes, Generate Online Application Form” button.

An unique application number will be generated. Kindly note it.

Type the application Number and your date of Birth to generate online application form.

Print the generated application forms (2 pages), affix your signature, paste one recent passport size photograph, affix the Postal Receipt towards the Examination Fee and Application Fee in the 2nd page and send it to the Commission’s Office on or before the last date.

Note: Mere data entry of application alone is not an online registration. Online application forms without Signature and photograph will be summarily rejected

Last date: The candidates can register their particulars online and generate printout till 5.45 P.M. on 19/06/2011. They will have to generate the printout of the filled-up application form by clicking ‘YES, Generate Online Application Form’ button, paste one recent passport size photograph, affix the Postal Receipt towards the Examination Fee and Application Fee, affix the signature and send it to the Commission’s Office on or before 21/06/2011 – 5.45 P.M.

Before taking the printout of the Application Form, make sure that both Top and Bottom margins of the print area will have only 3 mm. (This can be adjusted using File->Page Setup option of the browser.).

BSNL Telecom Technical Assistants (TTAs) Application Forms

Bihar Telecom Circle is going to recruit 171 number of Telecom Technical Assistants (TTAs) in the pay scale of Rs. 13600 to 25420 plus allowances per month through an open competitive examination. TTA is an SSA/Telecom District level cadre and examination will be conducted SSA/Telecom District wise on the same day. One applicant is allowed to appear in the examination against vacancy of one SSA/Telecom District only.

Examination fees:

a) Examination fee of Rs. 500/-(Rupees Five hundred) only is payable by the applicants in the form of Demand Draft only addressed to “ A.O. (B&A) ,BSNL, % C.G.M.T. Patna.” Examination fee once paid will be not be refunded.

b) No fee for the applicants of SC & ST categories.

c) Exemption from payment fees is also available to the applicants of PH category. This exemption will, however, be available to only those handicapped persons who would otherwise be eligible for appointment to the post on the basis of the standards of medical fitness prescribed for that post and who enclose with the application necessary certificate from a Government Hospital / Medical board in support of his /her claim for being handicapped.

d) The applicants who have appeared in the examination for TTA recruitment held on 22/11/2009 are exempted from the submission of examination fees on production of details given in the application form

The specimen of the application form is included in this advertisement as Annexure I. Neatly typed [only on one side of paper] copy in A4 size [30 cms. X 20 cms] may be used for making application. BSNL shall not be responsible for any postal delay. SELECTION PROCESS:
Selection will be based on Written Test followed by interview for the short listed candidates who qualify in the written test. The Written Test will be held at 1) Chennai, 2) Delhi, 3) Hyderabad, 4) Kolkata and 5) Mumbai and will comprise of 200 objective type questions for three hours duration with negative marking for wrong answers. Written test will comprise of two parts; Part-I will have 100 question having questions on General Awareness, Reasoning, Numerical Ability and proficiency in English language and Part- II will have 100 questions to adjudge the professional ability of the concerned discipline. Candidates have to qualify both in written test and interview separately to be placed in merit list for selection. The interview will be held at New Delhi.

Till 1965 India’s borders with Pakistan were manned by the State Armed Police Battallion. Pakistan attacked Sardar Post, Chhar Bet and Beria Bet on 9 April, 1965 in Kutch. This exposed the inadequacy of the State Armed Police to cope with armed aggression due to which the Government of India felt the need for a specialized centrally controlled Border Security Force, which would be armed and trained to man the International Border with Pakistan. As a result of the recommendations of the Committee of Secretaries, the Border Security Force came into existence on 01 Dec 1965, and Shri K F Rustamji was the first chief and founding father. Promote a sense of security among the people living in the border areas. Prevent trans border crimes, unauthorized entry into or exit from the territory of India. Prevent smuggling and any other illegal activity. In the last few years the BSF has, in addition to their duties, been deployed for counter insurgency and internal security duties Holding ground in less threatened sectors. Protection of vital installations. Assistance in control of refugees. Anti-infiltration duties in specified areas. The BSF, in its 41 years of existence, has emerged as an elite force of the country having excelled with distinction in the 1971 war with Pakistan. Its ethos is “Any task, any time, any where” and the BSF has given blood and sweat to execute its motto “Duty Unto Death”. The concept of border fencing, flood lighting and construction of roads has been introduced with the aim to stop infiltration/exfiltration on the Western and Eastern borders. The BSF contributes every year a number of personnel for services for UN Mission in Kosovo and Bosnia. During the Kargil conflict in May-July 1999, the BSF remained on the heights of the mountains and defended the integrity of the country with all the might at its command in unison with the Army. BSF personnel have been performing Internal Security Duty in Manipur for the last two years and have been successfully fighting insurgency in those areas.During the earthquake in Gujarat on 26th January 2001, the BSF was the first to reach out to help the distressed people. During the communal disturbances in Gujarat recently, BSF personnel went all out to restore amity and brotherhood among the people. The BSF took over the erection of the border fencing in Jammu & Kashmir and it was successful in its task despite all attempts of Pakistan to scuttle our efforts. The BSF has been defending the borders along with the army and checking infiltration on the borders during the current standoff with Pakistan.On my assuming the office of DG BSF, I convey my Best Wishes to all the members of the Force and their families. The BSF was born, out of crisis – in response to a hostile attack on our border. In that sense it is a child of crisis. However, since then, it has grown to become a frontline crisis manager. I expect all senior officers in administrative and functional positions to ensure that they respond with equal promptitude to welfare-oriented requests/suggestions from all their subordinates-senior and junior officers, without distinction. It is the least that we can do to ensure that we continue to remain a successful family. We live in the age of technology. As technology becomes more common, criminals and elements hostile to our country use it to further their ends faster. We must incorporate technology at a rate faster than the enemies of public order do. This is a minimal organizational imperative. I request senior officers to come up with plans for the continuous incorporation of the latest technology and developments into our Force in a strategic and tactical manner. Although I am a philosophical man, the realities of life as a law enforcement professional for 36 years have made me a practical leader: I refuse to believe in an ill fate that would fall on us, no matter what we did; I believe in a fate that would befall us, if we did nothing !

HOW TO APPLY

Candidates are required to apply ON LINE through Bank’s website www.jaipurtharbank.in
The guidelines for filling On LINE application are as under:-

Candidate should have a valid personal e-mail id. In case, candidate does not have valid e-mail id, he/she should create a new e-mail id. This e-mail id should be valid for the duration of the project.

Candidates should have their Demand Draft, particulars of qualification, experience, if any, ready before applying on-line, as the details are required to be entered in the on-line application. Please note that without valid Demand Draft details, on-line registration of application will be summarily rejected.

Demand Draft should be purchased on any date between 19-04-2011 and 10-05-2011. Please note that even if the last date for applying online are extended for any reason the dates for payment of fees will remain the same.

For post code 01 - DD should be in favour of Jaipur Thar Gramin Bank Clerical Recruitment Project – 2011 and for post codes 02 to 04 – DD should be in favour of Jaipur Thar Gramin Bank Recruitment Project-2011 .

Candidate’s Name, Address, Registration Number, Post applied for and Name of the Centre should be written on the reverse of the Demand Draft.style=”line-height:25px;”> After submission of application on-line, a system generated registration number and password will be allotted to the applicant. Thereafter, the candidate should obtain a system generated print out of the application.

A recent passport size photograph should be affixed on the application at appropriate place and the applicant should sign across it. Then, send it by ordinary post to the designated post box number latest by 17.05.2011 (signed application along with Demand Draft & other necessary certificates/documents)

Manual corrections in system generated print out of application will not be entertained and such applications will be rejected. If a candidate wishes to make any correction in the application, he/she is required to register again afresh with correct details and take fresh print out of application.

There is a provision to modify the submitted on-line application. Candidates are requested to make use of this facility to correct the details in on-line application, if any. This Modification facility shall be available after 2 days of registration & up to 12.05.2011. Modification will be allowed only 3 times. After the last date, no modification will be permitted. No modification should be made, after sending the application by post.

System generated print out of the application, complete in all respect, should be sent by ordinary post latest by 17.05.2011 on the following specified post box number only in a cover super scribing “Print out of Application for the post of Office Assistant/ Officer Scale I/ Officer Scale II/ Officer Scale III in Jaipur Thar Gramin Bank Recruitment Project 2011”. Duly filled in applications are to be sent by ordinary post at the address given below:

The Printout of the application must be accompanied by a Demand Draft/ Pay Order of value mentioned as above, as the case may be, along with xerox copies of following documents. Unless the hard copy of the system generated printout of the Online Application Form along with all the relevant enclosures is received at the prescribed address mentioned above the Online application will not be considered valid.

Secondary School certificate/ School leaving certificates for proof of age.

Marks sheet (year wise) showing specifically the subjects studied and certificate/s in support of educational qualification viz. SSLC / HSC / Graduate degree, post graduation degree, professional/research qualification etc.
A candidate belonging SC/ST/OBC/PC category should attach a certified copy of the SC/ST/OBC/PC certificates issued by the Competent Authority in the prescribed format as prescribed by Government of India. In case of OBCs, the certificate inter alia must specify that the candidates should not belong to Creamy layer section excluded from the benefits or reservation for other backward class in civil post and services of Government of India, OBC certificate should not be more than one year old as on the date of application.
An ex serviceman candidate has to enclose a xerox copy of the discharge certificate, retirement/pension order and documentary proof of rank last held.
Candidates serving in Government/Public Sector undertakings (including Banks) should produce no objection certificate from their employer, at the time of interview, in the absence of which their candidature will not be considered.

Application once made will not be allowed to be withdrawn and examination fee once paid will not be refunded on any account nor can it be held in reserve for any other selection process.

GUIDELINES FOR FILLING THE APPLICATION ARE AS UNDER :

Please note that the following is the general procedure for applying online. No other mode of application or incomplete application will be accepted and in such case, the application would be rejected outright.

1. Candidates should have a valid e-mail ID. This will help him / her in getting call letter / interview advices etc.

2. After the payment of fees the Candidate should visit the Bank’s website again and fill up the application form available after clicking the link given in the notification.

3. Branch Code and Transaction Number noted on the Challan should be correctly filled in the application at appropriate place.

4. After filling up all the mandatory fields and security check box, the candidate should submit his/ her application should by clicking on the “submit” button.

5. All the mandatory fields (marked with *) should be filled in, otherwise the system will not accept the application.

6. The Candidate should note/ remember the Registration number and Password for future reference and use.

7. A recent passport size photograph should be firmly pasted on the paid Challan (Candidate’s Copy). Five copies of the same photograph should be retained for use at the time of written examination and interview. Candidates are advised not to change their appearance till the recruitment process is completed. Failure to produce the same photograph at the time of written test and interview may lead to disqualification. The “Candidate’s copy” of the exam fee Challan with a recent photograph of the candidate pasted thereon should be handed over at the examination center.

8. Candidates should keep two copies of the Application printout, a copy of the printout with the recent photograph of the candidate duly pasted thereon, which will have to be submitted at the time of interview, the other copy may be retained for personal record of the candidate. A copy of the Challan (indicating Transaction No.) may be retained for the candidate’s record. The Original Challan will have to be submitted with the call letter at the time of written examination.

9. The Bank takes no responsibility for any certificate/remittance sent separately by candidate.

10. Candidates in their own interest are advised to submit their application on-line well in time before the last date to avoid possible technical snags.

11. Candidates who wish to apply for more than one post have to pay the application fees separately for each post and apply for each post separately.

a) Procedure for Depositing Fee:
Before depositing the fee/charges, the candidate must download a copy of the cash voucher
from our website www.pnbindia.in- Link (Recruitment) The voucher will be in duplicate.
The voucher be filled up and thereafter be presented at any Branch of PNB, along with the
application fee. The following details must be entered into both copies of the voucher:
(i) Candidate’s Name
(ii) Candidate’s Category
(iii) Name & Code Number of the branch selected for payment
(iv) Date of Payment and
(v) Fee to be paid. After payment, the candidate must ensure that the transaction ID generated is entered into the voucher. The candidate’s copy of the voucher will then be handed over to him/her.

Payment of fee should be made from 11.04.2011 to 03.05.2011 in any branch of PNB. No Fee will be accepted by any other mode. The date will be the same for candidates belonging to far-flung areas. Fees once deposited shall not be refunded.

Candidates should log onto our website www.pnbindia.in link (Recruitment). The candidates must apply online only. Application registration on our website will remain open from 11.04.2011 to 03.05.2011.

The transaction ID provided by the Branch after payment must be quoted in the application and the Original Cash voucher must be produced along with the call letter at the time of the written test.

The candidate should have a valid Email ID. This will enable him/her to receive call letter/ interview advice etc. by email.

Candidates should keep a printout of the completed application for reference in future. There is a provision to modify the submitted online application.
