RECRUITMENT OF DRIVERS AND DRIVER CUM PUMP OPERATORS IN CISF 2010
Applications are invited from Male Indian citizens for filling up the following temporary posts of Driver and Driver-Cum-Pump Operator in Central Industrial Security Force.in the Pay Band – 1 Rs.5200- 20200 + Grade Pay RS.2000/- plus usual and admissible allowances to the Central Government employees from time to time. They will be governed under CISF Act and Rules as well as Central Civil Services Rules applicable to other members of the Force and other Acts and Rules applicable from time to time. On appointment they shall be entitled. for the pension benefits as per the “New Restructured Defined Contributory Pension Scheme” applicable for the new entrants to the Central Government services w.e.f. 01-01-2004.

POST : 1.Drivers/Direct (Constable/Driver)

POST : 2.Drivers/Deptt. (Constable/Driver) & Drivers /Ex-Servicemen (Constable/ Driver)

Total Vacancy : 85 Posts.

POST : 3.Driver-cum-Pump Operator/Direct (Constable/DCPO)

Total Vacancy : 114 Posts.

POST : 4.Driver-cum-Pump Operator /Deptt. (Constable/DCPO) & Ex-Servicemen

Total Vacancy : 14 Posts.

Note:

1.The recruitment is open to all MALE Indian citizens only.
2.These vacancies may increase or decrease depending upon the position at the time of final selection with out any notice.
3.The posts are temporary but likely to become permanent. .
4.Selected candidates are liable to be posted any where in the country according to transfer. policy of the Force.
5.The recruitment willbe conducted on All India basis.

AGE : Between 20 and 25 years.

LAST DATE : The crucial date for determining. age limit will be the closing date for receipt of application .from the candidates i..e. 24-08-2010 .

Educational Qualification : The candidate should have passed Matriculation or 1Oth class from a recognized Board or University.

Educational certificate other than State Board/Central Board should
be accompanied with Government of India notification declaring
that such qualification is equivalent to Matric/lOth class pass fa’;.’
service under Central Government.

Closing Date : Application should be sent so as to reach the concerned Zonal DIG of CISF by 24.08.2010 and in case of residents of North East region by 31-08.2010. No application will bc entertained w ich is r ceived after the due date.

PROCEDURE FOR APPLYING FOR REVIEW
FOR STUDENTS:
1. Only candidates who have applied for the photocopy of the answer script are eligible for applying for review. There is no restriction on the MARK/GRADE obtained by the candidate.
2. The answer script is to be valued and justified by a faculty member of the college, who handled the subject, and he/she should recommend for review with the breakup of marks for each question.
3. The application for review should be forwarded by the Principal along with the requisition of the student with proper justification of the faculty member concerned on or before 16-08-2010.
4. The fee for review is Rs.3,000/- and it should be paid in the form of demand draft drawn in favour of the Controller of Examinations, AnnaUniversity Chennai, Chennai – 25.
5. Grade System: If a candidate gets higher grade in review, the higher grade will be declared as the final grade. Only such candidates are eligible for refund of sum of Rs.3,000/-.
6. Mark System: If a candidate gets a higher mark in review, the higher mark obtained in review will be declared as the final mark. Refund of sum of Rs.3,000/- will be made only to
a) The candidates who have failed originally and obtained pass mark after review.
b) The candidates who have passed already and obtained an increase of 5 or more marks after review.
7. The refund will be made to the candidate through the Principal of the College in the form of demand draft drawn in the name of the candidate.
FOR COLLEGE:
1. The Principals are requested to forward only the genuine representations of the candidates who have obtained the photocopy of the answer script to the Controller of Examinations for further review.
2. The last date for forwarding the review request is 18-08-2010.

Verification of Original Documents facilitating selection process

Provisionally selected candidates are requested to appear before the undersigned on 23.08.2010 at 11.00 A.M. along with the following original documents for verification.

i. Documentary evidence of Educational Qualifications viz., Degree in Civil Engineering Certificate as reported in his/her application for appointment.
ii. Documentary evidence of age viz., SSC/ICSE/CBSE or Date of Birth Certificate issued by the competent authority.
iii. Caste Certificate (latest by 6 months/Permanent) issued by the Tahsildar.

v.Certificate issued by the District Medical Board in respect of Physically challenged with specific indication of the percentage of disability.

2.Further more the candidates are informed that, if the above documents found correct with reference to the details mentioned in their online application, they are required to deposit the above original documents and submit the following documents to the Department at the same time, so as to enable to issue appointment orders.
i. Employment Exchange Registration Card, if any.
ii. Certificate of Physical Fitness issued by a Govt. Medical Officer of rank not lower than that of Civil Surgeon (or) District Medical Officer. (Click here to view the proforma)
iii. The Attestation Form in quadruplicate (4 sets) duly filled in by the candidate (along with Xerox copies of Educational qualification certificates viz.SSC, Intermediate/Diploma, BE/B.Tech.)
