HOW TO APPLY
1. Candidates are required to have a valid personal e-mail ID. It should be kept active for the duration of this recruitment project. Bank may send call letters for written test, interview etc., through the registered e-mail ID. In case a candidate does not have a valid personal e-mail ID, he/she should create his/her new e-mail ID before applying on-line. Third party e-mail IDs are not permitted.
2. Candidates are required to apply On-line through Bank’s website www.andhrabank.in only. No other means/mode of application will be accepted.
3. Application link on our website will be opened from 21.05.2011 to 09.06.2011 both days inclusive.
4. Candidates should keep the particulars of their application fee paid details, Educational Qualifications, work experience details and other personal details ready before applying, as these details are required to be entered in the online application.

The application fee / postal charges can be paid by;
1. Directly crediting the amount in any Andhra Bank Branch
Candidate must take printout of the Fee Payment Challan from website www.andhrabank.in for the post he wishes to apply for.
Fill in the particulars viz. Name, Andhra Bank Branch Name, City, Amount, Post Applied for in a clear and legible handwriting in BLOCK LETTERS,

Submit the Fee Payment Challan and Amount in any Andhra Bank branch and pay in cash the appropriate application fee in the designated CBS account as given in the fee payment challan.
Please check that the challan is properly signed and the details of SOL ID, Transaction ID and Transaction Date are noted in the challan by the branch authorities

TO APPLY ONLINE
1. Candidates should first scan their photograph and signature, ensuring that both the photograph and signature are within the required specifications. If the size of the file is more than the specified limit then adjust the settings of the scanner.
2. Candidate is now ready to apply on-line by visiting the Bank’s website www.andhrabank.in

3. Candidates should carefully fill in the details from the Fee Payment Challan/ NEFT Receipt in the On-Line application at the appropriate places. Candidates are advised to verify every particular given in the On-line application. The name of the candidate or his/her father/husband etc should be spelt correctly in the application as it appears in the certificates/mark sheets. Any change/alteration found may disqualify the candidature.

4. Make a note of the allotted system generated application registration number and password.

5. Information filled in on On-Line application will be final. No further changes will be allowed except to the extent mentioned in clause 11.

6. After applying on-line, the candidate should take a print out of the system generated on-line application. They should not send this print out to the Bank.

7. Candidates are advised in their own interest to apply On-Line much before the closing date and not to wait till the last date to avoid the possibility of disconnection/inability/failure to log on the Bank’s website on account of heavy load on internet/website jam.

8. Please note that even if the date for On line registration is extended, the dates for payment of application fee will remain unchanged i.e. 21.05.2011 to 09.06.2011

9. The Bank does not assume any responsibility for the candidates not being able to submit their application within the last date on account of the aforesaid reasons or for any other reason beyond the control of the Bank.

10. Applications once registered On line will not be allowed to be withdrawn and/or the application fee, postage charges once paid will not be refunded nor be held in reserve for any other examination.

11. Candidate should preserve the original counterfoil of the fee payment challan /NEFT fee payment counterfoil/challan/advice and submit the same along with the Call Letter at the time of written test/ Interview. Without original counterfoil of fee payment challan/ NEFT Receipt and the call letter for written test/ Interview, the candidates will not be allowed to appear in the written test/ Interview.

12. There is a provision to modify the submitted online application. Candidates are requested to make use of this facility to correct the details in online application, if any. This Modification facility shall be available after 2 days of registration and up to 11.06.2011. After the last date, no modification will be permitted.

NOTE:Candidates can apply for more than one post. They must however, are required to pay the separate application fee using separate challan and apply separately for each post.

BSNL Telecom Technical Assistants (TTAs) Application Forms

Bihar Telecom Circle is going to recruit 171 number of Telecom Technical Assistants (TTAs) in the pay scale of Rs. 13600 to 25420 plus allowances per month through an open competitive examination. TTA is an SSA/Telecom District level cadre and examination will be conducted SSA/Telecom District wise on the same day. One applicant is allowed to appear in the examination against vacancy of one SSA/Telecom District only.

Examination fees:

a) Examination fee of Rs. 500/-(Rupees Five hundred) only is payable by the applicants in the form of Demand Draft only addressed to “ A.O. (B&A) ,BSNL, % C.G.M.T. Patna.” Examination fee once paid will be not be refunded.

b) No fee for the applicants of SC & ST categories.

c) Exemption from payment fees is also available to the applicants of PH category. This exemption will, however, be available to only those handicapped persons who would otherwise be eligible for appointment to the post on the basis of the standards of medical fitness prescribed for that post and who enclose with the application necessary certificate from a Government Hospital / Medical board in support of his /her claim for being handicapped.

d) The applicants who have appeared in the examination for TTA recruitment held on 22/11/2009 are exempted from the submission of examination fees on production of details given in the application form

How to apply:
The specimen of the application form is included in this advertisement as Annexure I. Neatly typed [only on one side of paper] copy in A4 size [30 cms. X 20 cms] may be used for making application. Applications complete in all respects should reach AGM (Estt) O/o the Chief General Manager Telecom, Bihar Telecom Circle, Sanchar Sadan, Budh Marg, Patna: 800001 on or before 15/06/2011. BSNL shall not be responsible for any postal delay. The envelope containing the application must be superscribed with “APPLICATION FOR RECRUITMENT OF TELECOM TECHNICAL ASSISTANT-2008″ in block letters. Three identical copies of recent Passport size Photographs out of which one should be pasted (not stapled or pinned) on the application form, duly attested, and the other two to be pasted on the admit card at the place marked for this (Admit Card in Duplicate) (not to be attested) along with two self addressed unstamped envelopes (size 27 cm X 12 cm) should be enclosed

Closing date for receipt of Application forms:

Application forms complete in every respect must reach on or before 15/06/2011 (5.00 PM) Application received after the closing date or incomplete application form in any respect shall be summarily rejected and no communication in respect of the rejected application forms shall be entertained. BSNL shall not be responsible for any postal delay.

The applicants would be admitted to the examination on the basis of the information furnished by them in their application form. They are, therefore, advised to ensure that they fulfill all eligibility conditions before applying. In case it is found at a later stage that the information furnished by an applicant is false or an applicant does not fulfill any of the eligibility conditions the candidature of such applicants would be cancelled even if they qualify and no correspondence in this regard would be entertained. Issuance of an Admit card for the examination will NOT confer any right for appointment.

Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation Limited (IRCTC), a premier Miniratna Public Sector Undertaking under the Ministry of Railways invites applications for appointment to the following posts in Tourism Department on contract basis through open direct recruitment:

SELECTION PROCESS:
Selection will be based on Written Test followed by interview for the short listed candidates who qualify in the written test. The Written Test will be held at 1) Chennai, 2) Delhi, 3) Hyderabad, 4) Kolkata and 5) Mumbai and will comprise of 200 objective type questions for three hours duration with negative marking for wrong answers. Written test will comprise of two parts; Part-I will have 100 question having questions on General Awareness, Reasoning, Numerical Ability and proficiency in English language and Part- II will have 100 questions to adjudge the professional ability of the concerned discipline. Candidates have to qualify both in written test and interview separately to be placed in merit list for selection. The interview will be held at New Delhi.

The candidates are to note that the option of the centre once exercised cannot be changed. However, in the event of not holding the examination in a particular city, due to administrative reasons, the examination center may be allotted in some other city and a candidate will have to appear for the Written Examination at the Centre/ City finally allocated by the Corporation.

HOW TO APPLY

Eligible candidates of Indian Nationality have to apply only through online registration system
of IRCTC i.e. through www.irctc.com

Online submission of the applications will be allowed on the website between 2nd May 2011 to 23rd May 2011. No other means/mode of application shall be accepted. While applying On-Line, candidate should have the following readily available.

Two E-mail IDs (from different service providers which must be valid for at least one year from the date of registration)

Crossed demand draft/pay order of Rs. 300/- as processing and Examination fees from General & OBC candidates only which will be attached to the Registration slip and dispatched to- Post Bag No. 007, Sriniwaspuri Post Office, New Delhi -110065 by 31st May 2011. No other means/mode of application shall be accepted.

SC/ST/PWD candidates are exempted from processing and examination fees.

SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates will have to submit their caste / disability certificate along with the registration slip.

Candidates will have to submit details of relevant post qualification experience with date in chronological order along with the registration slip.

The DD details (if applicable) and valid e-mail ID are mandatory fields without which applications will not be registered.

The Demand Draft is non refundable and should be drawn in favor of ” Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation Ltd.” payable at New Delhi only. Demand drafts payable at locations other than New Delhi will not be accepted. Money Order / Postal Order or any other mode of payment is not acceptable.
