According to the duly notified conditions of the Advertisement, Regulations and Policy Decisions of the Punjab Public Service Commission, a written test for shortlisting of candidates was held on 14-11-2010. Consequently 202 top merit candidates including 07 (tie cases candidates) who have secured equal marks in the written test over & above the ratio of candidates / posts laid down in the Policy Decisions of the Commission + 07 candidates against quota reserved for Minorities (Non-Muslim) = 209 candidates have been cleared for interview provisionally by the Punjab Public Service Commission against 41 (39 open merit + 2 posts reserved for Minorities) posts of Assistant BS-14 in the Punjab Police Department.
