Airline Allied Services Ltd.

Airline Allied Services Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Air India Limited, is looking for smart, young and energetic Female and Male Indian Nationals for its immediate requirement for Trainee Cabin Crew/Cabin Crew on a fixed term engagement, for an initial period of three years and to maintain a wait list for future requirements.

a) AGE: Between 20 and 30 years (Relaxable upto 5 years in case of SC/ST and 3 years in case of OBC categories)

b) MARITAL STATUS: Unmarried

c) MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
CABIN CREW/TRAINEE CABIN CREW
Graduate from a recognised University.
OR
10+2 and three years’ Degree/ Diploma in Hotel Management & Catering Technology from a
Government recognised Institute.
OR
10+2 with at least one year experience in Passenger Interface in an Airline or Hospitality Services. (Candidates with minimum one year of flying experience as Cabin Crew in an Airline of repute will be considered for the post of Cabin Crew. Preference will be given to candidates with valid SEP. The period of training will not be counted for the purpose of determining one year of flying experience.)

The following areas of Airline and Hospitality services will be considered relevant for the purpose of determining eligibility in experience:-

· Passenger Services in Airline/Airport Terminal Handling/IATA accredited Travel & Tourism Agency
· Call Centre/BPO
· Front Office/Guest Relations/Hostess or Steward in 3 star & above rated hotels or in reputed Food/Coffee/Restaurant chains.

Preference will be given to candidates holding valid Indian Passport.

PHYSICAL STANDARDS :

1. Vision:

Near Vision: N/5 in better eye and N/6 in worst eye.
Distant vision: 6/6 in one eye & 6/9 in another eye.
Spectacles/corrective surgery not allowed.
Contact lenses up to ± 2D permitted.
(Certificate from Ophthalmologist giving power of lens to be attached)

Colour Vision: Normal on Ishihara Chart.

Height & Weight:
Female – Minimum 154.5 cms. with proportionate weight
Male - Minimum 163 cms. with proportionate weight
{ Relaxation of 2.5 cms for SC/ST candidates & those from North East states
& hilly states (subject to domicile proof) Attach proof. }

Cosmetic Appearance:
- Should be well groomed with clear complexion without any noticeable blemish, odd scars/birth mark or bad case of acne.
- Even and regular teeth.

Speech:
Clear speech, no stammering, lisping and with clear understandable accent.

LANGUAGE: Fluency in English and one or more Indian Languages. Should also have working knowledge of Hindi.

A candidate shall be deemed to have acquired working knowledge of Hindi, if he/she has passed Matriculation or an equivalent or higher examination with Hindi as one of the subjects; OR Pragya, the examination conducted under Hindi Teaching Scheme of the Central Government or when so specified by that Government in respect of any particular category of post, any lower examination under that scheme; OR Any other examination specified on that behalf by the Central Government; OR he/she declares himself/herself to have acquired such knowledge.

SELECTION PROCESS: WALK-IN-INTERVIEW ONLY

i) Interested candidates, who fulfil the above eligibility criteria, are required to report for registration between 0930 hrs to 1330 hrs. Candidates with flying experience as Cabin Crew, will be required to appear only for Interview. Candidates for the post of Trainee Cabin Crew will appear for Group Discussion and those who qualify the same will appear for personal Interview at any one of the following locations for which the dates and venues will be intimated separately on this website:-
