University of Rajasthan is one of the oldest university in Rajasthan, it was established on January 8 1947. UOR is having 6 constituent colleges, 305 affiliated colleges, 11 recognized research centres and 37 P.G. depts. UOR is affiliated to UGC and accredited by NAAC A+ grade. Currently Mr. S. K. Singh is the chancellor and Dr. N. K. Jain is vice-chancellor of UOR.
