Sri Krishnadevaraya University (SKU) located in Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh, is one of the prominent universities of the region. The University has earned its name as a centre of academic excellence. It is also accredited with a four star status by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). SKU came into existence in the year 1968, however, it got granted the status of an affiliating University in 1987. Presently, the University provides excellent level of education in various disciplines through its numerous affiliated colleges and institutes.
