STRUCTURE OF LL.B. ENTRANCE TEST
The Entrance Test Paper will have 175 Objective Type Questions with Multiple Choice Answers on :
English Language Comprehension, to test the ability to analyse written information, comprehending the main
ideas and significant details and drawing inferences from the material presented and testing the general
comprehension of language including grammar; Analytical Abilities, Legal Awareness and Aptitude for
testing the ability to evaluate an assumption, inference or argument that is presented in a short statement and solving the legal problems; for testing general awareness aptitude about law and the legal system; and General Knowledge. All sections may not have equal number of questions.
SAMPLE TEST QUESTIONS
The sample Test questions are given below to acquaint the candidates with the pattern of Admission Test.
The sample is purely illustrative. The questions in the Test Booklet may substantially differ from the questions
in the following samples.
1. PRINCIPLE: No person shall be prosecuted and punished for the same offence twice.
FACTUAL SITUATION: ‘A’, a kleptomaniac, was an acquaintance of ‘B’ and used to visit ‘B’s’ home on weekends. One day, ‘B’ was unable to find his watch after a visit from ‘A’. Ultimately, ‘B’ informed the police about the missing watch and the persons who had been to his room. The police, among others, made a search on person of ‘A’ and found the watch in his pocket. At his trial, the Court found him guilty of theft and sentenced him to 3 months in prison. After completing his sentence, ‘A’ went to ‘B’s’ home to apologize for his conduct. After ‘A’ left, it was discovered that ‘B’s’ watch was missing. ‘A’ informed the police who located the watch from ‘A’s’ home. Can ‘A’ be prosecuted for theft?
(a) No, he has already been prosecuted and punished for theft and cannot be punished for the same offence again.
(b) No, he is a kleptomaniac with a psychological disorder of stealing and therefore cannot be found guilty.

The West Bengal Madrasah Service Commission Act, 2008 (West Bengal Act XXV of 2008) enacted by Notification No. 1605L, dated 22.10.2008 came into force with effect from 22.10.2008 for the purpose of recruitment of Teachers including Headmasters/Headmistresses of recognised non-Government aided Jr. High/High/Higher Secondary and Senior Madrasahs in West Bengal. Afterwards the recruitment of non-teaching staff including Librarians has been entrusted with the Commission by ammenment of the Act.

Madhav Institute of Technology and Science was established in 1957 by His Highness Late Sir Jiwaji Rao Scindia, Maharaja, Erstwhile state of Gwalior with the prime objective of providing Technical Education at undergraduate and post graduate levels alongwith conducting research activities. The foundation stone of the Institute was laid by Late Dr. Rajendra Prasad, the then President of India on 20th October, 1956 and the building was inaugurated on 11th December, 1964 by Late Dr. S. Radhakrishnan, the then President of India.
