Meanwhile, Baroda University Teacher Association (BUTA) conducted a meeting to decide its line of action for continuing its protest against the state government and Maharaja Sayajirao Vishwavidyalaya Shaikshanik Sangh (MVSS) formed a human chain around MSU’s Faculty of Arts as a mark of protest.
SPUTA Vice President Prof Kiran Kalia said: “We have nearly 200 post-graduate teachers in our association. We burnt the GR copies to protest against the government move.”
Meanwhile, South Gujarat College Teachers’ Association General Secretary K C Patel said, “More than 850 teachers have protested against the state government move and they have been asked not to file the acceptance forms issued by the state government for the Sixth Pay Commission.”
